Stone Bridge (Macedonian: Kameni Most) was built on Roman foundations under the patronage of Sultan Mehmed II the Conqueror between 1451 and 1469 and its most famous symbol of the city of Skopje and it is incorporated in the city's flag. The bridge is 214 m long and 6 m. it connects Macedonia Square, in the center of Skopje, to the Old Bazaar, dividing Skopje on two different parts - left bank area who looks like any Western European city, and right bank area, who looks like any middle east Asian city.
