Macedonia Square

Macedonia Square is the main and biggest square of Skopje and Republic of Macedonia, with total area of 18.500 m2. Its location is in the central part of the city, and it crosses the Vardar River. The square is re-developed and there are many new buildings around the square that have been constructed. At the center of the square there is a high monument of fountain with Alexander the Great on Bucephalus.
